Seminar 5 April 2018, Carnot Campus of Saint Etienne
The connected Intelligence Team of Saint Etienne has organised a seminar about Web of Thing technologies and their application in agriculture.
Maria Poveda, postdoc at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and current visiting scientist at Irstea de Clermont-Ferrand, presented the work of her team: "New trends in ontological engineering, practices and tools". The slideshow is available on Slide Share Web site https://www.slideshare.net/MariaPovedaVillalon/new-trends-in-ontological-engineering-practices-and-tools
Catherine Roussey, researcher at Irstea, presented an application of the Irrinov method on AgroTechnoPole de Montoldre. Irrinov was developed by Arvalis and its partners. This method deals with the management of maize irrigation. This method proposes a set of recommendations and decision tables that farmers follow to determine the watering dates of the parcels.
