Context Aware System Observation Ontology (CASO) and IRRIG

The Context Aware System Observation ontology describes all the data that can be used by a contextual system, whether it be sensor measurements, aggregates, or inference results. IRRIG is a specialization of CASO to describe the data manipulated by a contextual system controlling irrigation. The use case concerns the automation of the irrigation guidelines proposed in the IRRINOV method of Arvalis.

CASO and IRRIG ontologies have been developed following the linked open terms (LOT) methodology using the Ontoology tool suite. These ontologies have been published on the Linked Open Vocabulary LOV and Agroportal.
